360 – Vintage Modern REACTION/REVIEW | Australia HipHop Album Review (Jungle Beats)

Jungle Beats reviews one of Australia’s biggest hiphop artists 360 and his latest album Vintage Modern. For those that are curious to hear more Australian hiphop than here’s a review one of Australia’s biggest. Nearly every track on this album has some type of thought provoking or humerus message throughout. This album caters well to Australia hiphop fans – it’s simple, not very technical, easy to digest and laced with production that a large percentage of the Aussie music scene loves to vibe to. Overall the production and hooks are the low light of this album for us because we don’t particularly enjoy or appreciate the indie pop type sound. Overall we didn’t really enjoy this album except for a few standout tracks. We will endeavour to put more unknown artists and a larger demographic of the Australian music scene on as we progress. We hope one day the Australian hiphop scene can be known for it’s own unique sound that the rest of the world looks up to it for.

Jungle Beats aspires to be Australia’s plug to the best most prolific and unique hiphop artists in the world. @AlexanderMann & @AlexSandalis host one of Australia’s few, and best HipHop podcast shows. Jungle Beats is purely about creatively sharing our love for music and hiphop with energy, positivity and passion. We started this in 2015 with a weekly 1 hour hiphop show on a radio station in Melbourne, Australia and in August 2016 we decided to create Jungle Beats. To us, Australia doesn’t have a strong hiphop identity within culture. Who do you think of when you think hiphop in Australia? Most think of 99 people OUTSIDE of this country. Maybe we can change that in some small way and push it forward. Jungle Beats is not what either of us focus the majority of our time on. Working on Jungle Beats Media is side hustle of ours, so it’s not going to be perfect. It’s gonna be messy, haphazard and we’re gonna fuck up. But that’s music and we love it. Thank you for choosing to supporting us.

react to complete – jordan. complete is a Perth rapper

Sharp Programming says:

This guy seems to me like he took the same path as MGK (Machine Gun Kelly) Where he will get known from a really hard track, or some sick EP, and then go full mainstream pop rap. Such a shame, Wild boy was my jam though.

GVO Beats says:

Love your work fam, what do you thnk about this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDWOigAvDc0

Sharp Programming says:

The camera vibrating from the bass, really made me giggle 😀

Madhik Wooden says:

react to kersers album engraved in the game

Rough says:

Id like to see more aussie rap reactions tbh, i get that scene is dry as your country but there are couple of good ones, kwame is a really recent so far his tracks have been alright but he has potential

DJ Spuddzz says:

Your opinions are very similar to mine. I didn’t like the album nearly as much as some of his previous works but I love his messages. My favourite tracks were Coup De Grace and Tiny Angel and White Lies gets better with every listen ’cause then you start hearing more punchlines and less of the corny lyrics.

You should listen to 360’s album What You See Is What You Get. No shitty hooks on that one.

Charlie says:

I feel like Aussie hip hop has fallen into a pit of having to be ‘meaningful’ and ‘good vibes’. Especially bliss and eso and their crappy radio pop songs. I think if Aussie hip hop artist had more of an I don’t care and comedic attitude and beats that aren’t so awful they would be taken seriously by music fans. It would love for Aussie hip hop was feared by the public and outsiders but respected by music fans much like the alternative American hip-hop scene (Injury reserve, Death grips, Jpegmafia ,Danny Brown) These are all artist that I love but I live in Melbourne I want some rappers from Where I live that I can relate too and enjoy.
BTW YOU SHOULD REACT TO JPEGMAFIA

reminds me somewhat about your reaction to revival, i think the reason why he is so popular is he is very easy to relate too, on 360 some of my favourite rap songs are from him but i dont listen to any of his albums straight i just listen to random songs from him, i think k21’s new album is better tbh

Noah farah says:

Is it bad that I’m hardly ever a fan of Australian hip-hop scene and I live here lol.
