Y’all know this is just my opinion, right?

Review While She Sleeps

breseman says:

Musically, they might be metalcore, sure. But they’re typically associated with hardcore, so just say hardcore. You pissed off a lot of fans for that one.

Patrick Kesler says:

Vocals are shit. Musically it’s a trash can falling down a pile of shit

Luke Nolin says:

I kind of have a similar opinion on the last two tracks, but I thought hurt goes on would have been better as an interlude somewhere else in the album, thought that song was alright, some of the lyrics were a bit hard to take seriously though. But I thought Dream2 was an awesome and eerie ending for the album.

RatsEatJak says:

Yo Anthony please get your glasses adjusted so I can sleep at night

Matt Barton says:

I am that true blue metal fan that you describe and I fucking love this album

AzCannibalChris says:

Honestly, this is my favorite album this year.

Chris O says:

I feel like this really just adds to the ocean of generic metalcore bands instead of rising above it…same with Nails

John Perez says:

Reba Meyers is the lead guitarist

Jackie says:

I don’t get it.  Sounds like a bunch of mush to me.  Nothing musically interesting in my opinion.

disappearingsquirrel says:

No one is untouchable was hands down my favorite song on the album

Toxic Potato says:

I always love it when a band manages to evolve their sound and really reach the next step in their career while still remaining true to what they are. To get signed by a huge label and still keep your uniqueness is no small feat these days.
That being said, I do have two gripes with the album. I wish the bass was mixed differently, because it sounds too polished and pushed back in the mix. Also some of the breakdowns sound a bit generic, it feels like they wanted to fit more sludge into their sound, but didn’t find much space for it.

It would be interesting to see them explore sludge and post metal elements a bit further in the future.

Ben Puckett says:

Maybe this is the year we get an August Burns Red Review…. Naw JK we wouldn’t want you to sully the name of the kings of our genre. NEwho love your content keep it up good sire. <3

Brandon Allman says:

Someone give me a dollar for every time says metalcore!

Tomi Tomescu says:

Ray Atchley says:

Les Puchala says:

Vancouver last night – Code Orange – saw this band last night with Meshuggah. Code Orange i think is the new wave of metal. Very different from most. Check them out (they are nominted for a grammy this year too) . Rolling stone magazine rated thier album best album of 2017. Multi dimensional, hardcore-beatdown metal vibe, i can definitely see why…

Jetro Suo says:

Reba plays guitar not bass *slides imaginary glasses up the nose*

Trevie McTrev says:

I just can’t listen the pretentiousness in your rhetoric bro. It’s gross. Fuk off.

Johnny Ciardullo says:

Check out Knocked Loose my dude, if you dig this you’ll for sure dig them.

Anubis 666 says:

Review “Codex Omega”- SepticFlesh ?

michael latham says:

Reba plays guitar! This tennis ball guy is a hack. Anthony Fantano has been debunked

Isaac Galindo says:

I don’t think hardcore bands really care about what sub genres they’re labeled as lmao

The Film Effect says:

I didn’t hear Gucci Gang, Gucci Gang, Gucci Gang, Gucci Gang, Gucci Gang, Gucci Gang on the whole album. 0/10
