Brothers Osborne – Port Saint Joe – Album Review

For my 942nd review, Brothers Osborne pivot to a more refined, slightly more sedate and hungover sophomore album.

Best Songs: ‘I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)’, ‘Pushing Up Daisies (Love Alive)’, ‘While You Still Can’, ‘Weed, Whiskey & Willie’, ‘Shoot Me Straight’
Worst Song: ‘A Little Bit Trouble’

I’m honestly surprised you didn’t touch on Shoot Me Straight more, especially given how it was easily the album highlight for me (even though talking about song structure is something that I normally find from someone like The Wonky Angle, not too sure why I expected you would to be honest.)

Agree with everything here 100%. A lot more consistent album but the highs aren’t as high. My favorite part of the album though is the transitions from song to song, this isn’t an album you can have on shuffle at all (not like you should anyways)

DestructionCentral - says:

It’s good. There will be a few tracks that will probably make my top songs of the year(Shoot Me Straight is one.)
