For my 248th review, I talk about Dustin Lynch’s follow-up that takes a fresh spin on bro-country cliches.

I like “World to me” and “American Prayer” on this album. World to me reminds me of Granger Smith’s “Tailgate Town” and American Prayer reminds me of Dierk Bentley’s “Home.” You should review Cole Swindell’s You Should Be Here album…and point out how every song mentions “beer” or “a truck” like all stupid bro country songs. Smh

Thanks for another great review Mark 🙂 I love “Her Daddy’s Boots”!
I know you cover albums of every genre, but I would love to hear your take on the new albums of Lee Brice, Tim McGraw, Lee Ann Womack (she is utterly amazing, known for traditional country, songs written with Bruce Robison, Julie Miller, Hayes Carll, Chris Knight, & Neil Young), & Blake Shelton’s new one. Just putting it out there. I’m kinda obsessed 😉

Tim Mcgraw- Sundown Heaven Town comes out September 16, and after listening to it on iTunes Radio, in my opinion it’s a very good album with a few slip-ups here and there. The songs are either songs that sound like Tim McGraws old stuff (Still On The Line, Kids Today) and other songs that experiment a bit. Its something that I’d like you to check out when it’s released if you could, it’s a very interesting album and I’d like to hear your take on it.

Weezer’s new album?

Ella Henderson- Chapter One. It comes out next month. Could you maybe review it? Thanks

Nina says:

You should review the new Michelle Williams album. I heard it has gotten really good reviews.

Please review Tove Lo – Queen Of The Clouds it comes out the 30th but leaked unusually early and its a different version, but you can still download it and listen to it, through links (check twitter for those), and TIME magazine called in one of the best albums, others say it saved what POP Alternative albums should be. She sang a song called “Habits (Stay High)”. And she’s written for multiple artists and this is her year. Please review it!
