►My review of of the third album “Golden Hour” by country singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves. This record sees an artist at their finest, both in terms of songwriting, but also their personal life.

This album is pure gold indeed but I don’t get the hate to “High Horse” for me it’s one of the best songs on the album and IT COMES in the accurate time, Kacey always criticizes what people cannot hear

Thanks for reviewing this. I’ve been following her and loving her music since STDP and was always impressed by her songwriting. This album was an emotional rollercoaster. I instantly cried at ‘Mother’. So much emotion in a little over a minute. I haven’t felt that from a song in a long time.

I just listened to this since shes’s opening for Harry Styles and I loved her Christmas album and some of her other songs. I really loved this album and I want to go listen to her others now. Just off my first listen mmy favorites were Velvet Elvis, Rainbow, Butterflies, Happy & Sad, and Golden Hour.

im one of your few viewers who loves Kacey (and I dont even like country). my friend took me to see her in 2016 and she BLEW ME AWAY. been a huge fan ever since. im loving the new record… favorite track (right now) is slow burn!!!

Great review, i had similar feelings about the album too. Mother is such a lovely and emotional song.
I’m also a big fan of Kacey! She definitely is an underrated songwriting and I would love to see her live too!
Kacey Musgraves, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, and Margo Price are all proving that’s there still some pretty good Country music out there today.
