Fugazi – Repeater ALBUM REVIEW

Listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oh5wTDa4M8

D.C. rock outfit Fugazi dropped their full-length debut in 1990, taking the aggression and ferocity of hardcore punk, but applying it to flashier guitar riffs, more adventurous song structures, and a complex rhythm section.

What did you think of this album? Love it? Hate it? Why? What should I review next, eh?

D. Jinerson says:

I am trying to remember a band from the early to mid 90s obscure band that had a singer bassist and drummer no guitar from what I remember kind of like a fugazi sound but I can’t remember any songs? Help appreciated. Fugazi was amazing a true unique sound very original

This is my favourite Fugazi album, that might be because it was my introduction to the band. It was also the first album I bought on vinyl. I love turnover so much.

Spoonman Vlogs says:

Ay bro review Ágætis Byrjun, Sea Change, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, Diary (SDRE), and the book about my idle plot on a vague anxiety. Thanks bra.

Karolina Kan says:

Fugazi is…. i respect them so much. I love their music and the philosophy they have followed. The values and issues their music is putting in front of you. The harmony between pure roughness and melody… I love this band, truly. Happy to hear there are more people who listen to Fugazi, since in my surroundings I haven’t found not even a single person who have ever heard them.

Sebastian Martinez says:

Review The Cure-Pornography or disintegration

TheTexanHusky says:

It sucks that Fugazi might not even come back. It’s been 17 years since they’ve released their recent (and possibly final) album “The Argument” back in 2001, and no new album since then, unless you want to include 2014’s “First Demo”, but that is a demo album, so it doesn’t count. I hope I can be proven wrong and hope the band could at least make one final album as a farewell for us fans. That’ll be so awesome if they could do that.

Nacht Schreck says:

smug douchebag

Sebastian Dimas says:

Man, I just fucking love your reviews, I have learned to much from them.

Saw them 4 times in the 90s. Always great shows. Very hard working, cared about their audience and of course the music.

Snail Savior says:

This fucking album is so good oh my god. Fugazi is such a good band for someone like me who listens to a lot of hardcore / punk and just needs a break every now and then. It’s such a refreshing sound because there is no other band I can compare it to. This band is so unique in terms of sound.

SycheRyder says:

Only knowing that melon gave this album his seal of approval allows me to enjoy it fully
