Gedascxz says:

this album is very different from the past albums of Gorillaz , and honestly for me every song in this album is quite the same, nothing special about each song , its like the kind of songs you would expect to be playing in the background of a coffee shop or something.. Humanz was also different but each track was somewhat different and offered something new unlike The Now Now, but then again its cool to change up styles and experiment…

all.apologies says:

I personally think it was pretty good but I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who found it hard to pay attention. A couple songs went in one ear and out the other after 1 listen and I have honestly no memory of them. (Those being Kansas, idaho, and one percent) However I love it a lot more than humanz. My favourite is fire flies for sure, the “dark” and weird sound of it is amazing. Also I love tranz, and the background music reminds me of demon days mixed with plastic beach. Also humility of course, I love souk eye, Hollywood, and magic city as well.

Grace Gin says:

I agree that this album is not bold or pushing boundaries, yet still, it is like the album that you needed when you need some alone time of your own. I just love the fact that Damon can always create this melancholy aura in his music, no matter how upbeat the music is, one can always find the sanity in it.

IOutroI Roblox,Minecraft and more says:

I’m gonna give it 5/5

Review Year of the Snitch

Phantom Prism says:

This album is far better than Humanz dude.

GamerFlame718 says:

Personally, while the definition of a strong album may vary, I believe that Humanz was not at all a strong album, good? Yes! But not very strong, I think albums like demon days and the now now are pretty strong as a whole

ConnieDraws Art says:

Why am I the only one who *really* dislikes Lake Zurich? I just can’t enjoy it

evii says:

*whispers* plastic beach is best

Roger S. says:

Is the best Gorillaz album post Demon Days really an argument? I mean, who in their right mind would not choose plastic beach?

Mastiff Myths, Legends and Lore says:

This album sucks one before that sucks too Gorillaz is starting to suck

Kool Kid Kalliko says:

The Now Now needed a few more songs, like maybe 2 more, but almost every song was great. Humanz had too many songs and needed to kinda cut off after a bit, and a lot of the songs were pretty bad imo. I think the next album will balance the two and we’ll get good old, classic Gorillaz.

Foxythepirate2564 says:

During the amino ad, my gorillaz amino got a notification

Luciano M. says:

Lol this kid has no idea what he’s talking about… If you weren’t a teenager when the 1st album came out you can’t fathom how gorillaz changed music.

Humility, Fireflies, Kansas, Souk Eye, & One Percent Were The Only Songs I Loved Instantly On This Album

Phantom Jade says:

In a follow-up to Humanz, I think this album does fail slightly. Not because the music isn’t good; there are some songs which I adore and I think in general the album is very well executed and packed with emotion.

However, it does have a major problem. Just like Humanz, it still doesn’t feel like a Gorillaz album. Instead, it sounds like a 2D Side Project, a bit like The Fall. While us fans did miss 2D’s presence and Damon tried to rectify that with this album, I think he missed the point slightly. We missed 2D, but without any sort of presence from the other band members (who are pretty much absent for this album), something about it just feels extremely hollow. If any other band released an album made by only one member, they would call it a solo project, not slap the band’s name on it. I mean, we have a brand new member in the band, and I came in to this album excited to see how this character would change the sound. The answer…they’re given so little room to breathe, you can’t even tell anything is different.

Tyler Baker says:

Damn. I fugured they were just releasing a few singles. Didn’t know it was gonna be a whole album. Not that I’m complaining. Been a big fan of their since the beginning.

Joseph Soto says:

In my opinion this was the album that I was hoping humanz was gonna be, its focused
