I agree that this album is really dope and slept on. I do understand people’s reasons for criticizing it. But people forget that the first half of his most political album Death Certificate was devoted to gangsta themes(meaning the death side). On a side note the lyrical themes of Lil Ass Gee make me think of Riley from the show The Boondocks in certain ways.

me personally i like you know how we do it better than it was a good day. i like that beat better..just me.
If you ask me about it, Lethal Injection was his last great album. Although it was very dope but the song Cave B-tch, I rather skipped it. I love all first four Ice Cube classics and Lethal Injection album was overshadowed by Dr. Dre’s Chronic and Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle albums especially Death Row at that time. Love Really Doe, Ghetto Bird, Bop Gun, Make It Ruff Make It Smooth, Enemy and You Know How We Do It. It was the signs of his decline and slipping into irrelevance.

Great review, Poor album, Really Doe was the only good track, lost interest in Cube after this.
