great review man! i have been waiting a long time for a review on this album haha. this album is so special to me because it was the first hip-hop album i’d ever listened and is a classic album that I believe is underrated and easipy overlooked because of how great OutKast’s discography is. also you are right about it being a timeless album that sounds like it was released just yesterday everytime you listen to it, timeless music indeed.

this is a Classic!!! words cant describe i wAS in high schoolrocking the tape and this was in 94! crumblin herb, playas ball, git up get out, southernplays……..  much respect to OK first three albums are classics. disappointed in 3000 he’s acting like Tip with not wanting to do anymore albums.

Stuart Scott says:

Organized Noize produced “As I Lay Me Down” by Sophie B. Hawkins, which was a pretty big song in 1995.

It’s a dope song if you’re open to other genres of music.

Alexandre Monteiro says:

RAQUAAHWA TheCodedtestament says:

One of my favorite albums of all time, no need to skip a track.

conscious vibe vegan says:

Dope dope review, I have always loved this album. ATLiens is my number one album of all time but this is the album that made me want to start rapping back in the day. I think cee lo’s verse on “git up git out” is one of the best verses ever but I’m sure his verse is edited out of the video version, which I could never understand. Peace and blessings my dude.

Anthologylife14 says:

Great review my brother. I actually don’t like this album at all. I mean I love Outkast but this album is not bad it’s just boring to me, everytime I put this album on I just get bored and I want to go to sleep. The production just sounds dated to me, the songs go on and on. Jesus, the hooks are terrible I could on and on. Like I said, I don’t hate this album, to it’s just boring. Again I enjoyed your review more than the album LOOOL. I hope you don’t take it the wrong way Bro. Keep up the good work!!

G The Genius Beats says:

Most slept on Outkast album. My favorite album from Outkast. You should check out the Organized Noize doc on Netflix. It’s very good.
