I remember being in high school and a few friends of mine were chilling in a car bumping this and smoking mary jane. This album made me take notice to DJ Premier. I was familiar with him during  the No Mister Nice Guy and Step in the Arena albums but Daily Operation made me go back and buy those 2 albums. Im glad I did. He is 1 of a hand full of producers that bring that boom bap style that I just can not hate on. The whole fusion of Jazz makes it even better

G PM says:

yeah yeah, thats pretty much my top 5 too

What’s that song playing in the background at 3:03? And 5:00….man, you got good taste in hip hop! Those beats are slamming!

ObasStan says:

My question is what are your top 5 songs that you like from Mecca And The Soul Brother album?

Donself1978 says:

I know I’ve sent you a post about the very first song you’re playing before, but I’ve got to find out what the heck that song is. The one before “Tekzilla”. PLEASE lol. Peace Homie.
