Classic Jazz Album Review #3

Joe Henderson, Miles Davis, In n Out, Kind of Blue, Blue Note, jazz

William Now says:

I goofed in this video. Blue Trane was released in 1957, not 1959…I was confusing it with another Coltrane record…my apologies for bad info. I guess this proves that you should not believe everything you see on the internet!!!

The Vinylverse says:

Another great review! You’re teaching us some good stuff here. I’m not as familiar with Joe Henderson and never heard In ‘N Out, at least I don’t think I have. But anything with the tag team of McCoy Tyner and Elvin Jones I’m pretty much sold on. I like how you talked about Kind of Blue and said there’s a lot of space on the album. It’s so true. I really think Bill Evans was good at letting things breathe a bit. The Coltrane and Adderly right and left channel stuff is really cool. I don’t know that I realized that they swapped channels on side two. I’m loving these jazz album reviews, Bradley. Keep them coming! Take care. -Bill
