Best couple of things I’ve been hearing: Stevan Kovacs TickMayer, Gaps, Absences–sort of RIO spaced out jazz stuff: http://www.squidco.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=S&Product_Code=19829/// Irene Schweizer-Joey Baron Live, sort of odd percussive piano and drums, who knew that’d work? https://intaktrec.bandcamp.com/album/live //// and Dave Douglas, Freak In–found a cheapo copy, pretty good… took me a while to get into, but yeah.

Hey Dave, Really good to see you back! Met up with our mutual buddy Chris C, recently.
Congrats on the new car, and in a sense even more so, that it has a CD player. 🙂 I always have CDs playing in the car too. Actually, my player broke a couple years ago, so I plug a CD ‘discman’ into the aux. I like the sound of Taylor’s Universe here. Am unfamiliar with most of these here, though I believe I’d likely enjoy all of them. I’m reminded to revisit that Vallon now, thanks. Glad you’re back, again. I see you have another video up, be over shortly. -Carm

Welcome back David! You were the first VC type person that I hooked onto a number of years ago and I am now entrenched in the vinyl community… Thank you! My group One Alternative ( http://www.onealternative.com) released an LP/CD last year called Twilight and I wanted you to review it but could not reach you. I thought you were totally off the grid. I am glad you are back and am hoping you would be interested in reviewing either the LP or CD. I do not know how to reach you so if you are interested, please send me your mailing address I will send it to you… pronto.
