Vinyl Fetish Club says:

I should have mentioned that “Nature Boy” sounds more like “:Afro Blue” than the Sinatra cover.

blazak says:

I would love to hear from people that bought the CD version. Any advantages or revelations?

Mark Bartlett says:

I think I will purchase three vinyl albums and keep 2 for myself and possibly sell the other one in the future.

muk as says:

A deluxe 2 LP version also exists with alternate takes.

Mark Bartlett says:

Just discovered that I like jazz music in 2016 at 52 years of age. Got bit by vinyl fever and jazz music at the same time. Purchased kind of blue and Love Supreme without ever having heard a single note from either one so when the needle hit the vinyl my jaw hit the floor. Could not believe that my hard rocking self was liking this music and I was really amazed at the sound quality. 3 years ago I would have hardly recognize any of the names you mentioned but now they are all absolutely familiar. This is one of my favorite album reviews and I cannot wait to get a copy myself, will probably purchase the CD also. I share your level of enthusiasm about a new John Coltrane release and again thanks for the cool review. Sonny Rollins is colossal and Art Blakey is a great jazz messenger and insanely great drummer, just had to mention Mr Blakey for some reason!
