Sounds like a great album. I’m just disappointed because I haven’t received my download yet. I bought it because I want to support my favorite artists, but wtf.. I’m only messing with Bandcamp from now on.

Pat Turn says:

Did he change his frame rate?

Gage Wilson says:

J-Rod Musik says:

Hm. I guess I have to take a listen to this one again. Tbh, I was extremely disappointed. I’m surprised you thought it was his best album yet because I gotta go with the opposite. Production value is just not up to par. Earl’s delivery is lackluster. I get that that’s always been his persona, but it kinda works against him on this record. I’m sure lyrically he’s still up to par, but I can’t hear him in the mix! The beats are just too distractingly bad, and nothing about this album is mixed well at all. Idk, I can appreciate experimental music, but I feel like the issue is that it’s experimental music with poor production

Space Raanger says:

Decay BZF says:

Not sure I agree with the conclusion that Earl’s mental state is worrying. If anything, SRS gives me the impression that he’s finally found a way to cope. Sure, he’s still as dark as ever at times, but it is delivered with such sincerity and sense of reality that it kind of feels rather optimistic to me.
Peanut is a one-minute blow to the stomach, but even a poignant line like ‘depression… this is not a phase’ shows his willingness to cope. Following Peanut with Riot! sounds like he’s ‘catching some rays’ despite the allure of the darkness.
Really appreciated this review though, good job.

Menzoya says:

LMAO THIS GUY

Glen Fisher says:
