SOB x RBE – Gangin ALBUM REVIEW

Listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjUNuvVeP7I&ab_channel=SOBXRBE

SOB x RBE has a distinct sound and style, but things get kind of wash, rinse, and repeat over the course of Gangin.

Ryan Michael Dunn says:

Roc Marciano, Black Milk and Evidence all released albums in the last few weeks yet you’re reviewing 6ix9ine… congrats you’re officially a sold out clout lord. It was a good run tho.

Jacob M'Boi says:

Viyeho? Bruh we pronounce the Ls like Americans lmao

Vy'Roi Voodoo says:

I hate to be “that guy” who asks you to review an artist, but you should really check out Sleepy Dog. He’s not that big yet, has a fairly small cult following, but he’s been self publishing music on YouTube and Bandcamp and I’ve seen that he’s gotten attention from Fender I think. But platforms like this are how other musicians and bands like CHON hit at least semi-success. I use CHON as an example because they’re math rock, and Sleepy Dog plays math rock / Midwest emo but I think he really adds a new flavor to it.
Edit: Not just speculation now, but Fender is actually helping Sleepy Dog out now with gear and I can only assume a sponsorship with it.

Darien Rivera says:

These rappers technically are staying on beat, the way they flow around the 2 and 3 beat and always hit the 4th beat on time is a pretty common bay area style of rapping, comparable to E-40, Roach Gigz and Iamsu. Not to say they aren’t original but just that the style, while sounding off beat at times, is actually on beat and I personally find it to be an extremely catchy flow.

MC Redwolf says:

As a bay area resident and rap fan, I can tell you these guys can be good but are overrated, and are EPSECAILLY overly-popular here. I’m not sure if he’s releasing his album soon, but there’s a rapper from Sacramento, Mozzy. He’s been pretty popular for a few years here.

Sh3llz says:

They sound like Detroit rappers, when I first heard they song with Bandgang I thought they was from Detroit, The Bay and The D got a similar sound but they sound more on the Detroit side

Steve Roubanov says:

The way you pronounced Vallejo….

Ryan Enstrom says:

I really wanted to hate you. Some ostentatious, untalented hipster gushing over music nobody has ever heard of.

I watched one video. Then two. Then four. A dozen over.

I just can’t hate you, which sucks because I really wanted to. I don’t get a single pretentious hipster vibe from you. Not one. I genuinely believe you’re just really into music and are sharing your honest opinions.

Good on ya. Well made videos. Well edited. Good stuff man.

PS You shit on Staind in one of your videos. I seriously recommend giving 14 shades and Chapter V a chance.
