Rational Thinker says:

This is currently my favorite band. I have to say that I understand the similarities betweeen band like zeppelin however they do have their own flare and are going to be a huge success for a long time. Listen to this band with an open mind and whatever you do, please don’t just join the hater bandwagon. I was on the hater bandwagon and getting off was the best decision I’ve made as far as music goes.

likwidude7 says:

Any music recomendations? I just found out this band two days ago i loved age of man but im getting a litte bored with the sounds already couple of my favorite bands are rhcp arctic monkeys strokes patd and indie music need new music asap with instruments preferbly

ELGEN23!? ELGEN23!? says:

Seems to be a very polarizing band mostly likely with views separated by age. It seems that maybe younger audiences appreciate GVF and take it as something fresh while an older audience sees it as a complete and utter rip off of Zeppelin. People talk about mainstream rock being dead. Releasing completely unoriginal music doesn’t help.

radio ron santos says:

Your crazy album is amazing band is to

Nathan 4rest says:

Hey man you should check out the “Blues got Allah” it is a Grateful Dead album.

Brittany Gidley says:

Greta Van Fleet is amazing!! I love them!!

Commenting for your statement about the end of the Chorus from ‘Mountain of the Sun’ at 6:00
I have been listening to the song quite often and for me its not as annoying as it must be for you. Just wanted to place this opinion here.
Great Video, keep the good content coming and watch your channel grow 😉

AmbroFuzbal says:

Very good review. Well done.

Kevin M says:

Couldn’t agree more. When I heard Brave New World the first thing I thought was Rush with a hint of Rainbow. I’m a huge Greta Van Fleet fan, and in fact I traveled 8 hours to see them play live, but I wasn’t that impressed with this album. I thought it did have its high points, but more lows, and I would give this album a 2.5/5. Who knows, maybe after a few more listens I’ll have changed my opinion of it. And…. an excellent review by ARTV once again.

The Windex Man says:

Great review

Carl says:

The thing I like best about Greta Van Fleet is that they sound like Led Zeppelin. The new album is excellent and gets better with more listens.

David Cremin says:

Pitchfork actually gave it a 1.6

Skiro says:

I loved it

jnixa1010 says:

Even though this is technically their “ first album “, it’s nowhere near as good as the first double ep. it’s ok, but there are no real standout songs. There’s no safari song or highway tune to get you moving, no variation. It sounds like an album of all filler tracks. I was kinda underwhelmed

The Canadian Wanker Reborn says:

Im glad that despite all the led zeppelin comparisons they tried their best to add their own sound onto their music. No its not the best but i never got bored or upset with any of the songs, its much more in depth and has alot more personality than their EP. Lyrics werent the best but there were some memorable lines, especially on watching over. I look forward to what they have to offer next and i hope they continue to develop their sound and maybe eventually lose the led zeppelin comparisons.

Lionheart Roar says:

It’s a great album..get off your high horse

Daniel Romberg says:

This album is spectacular.

WolFlow says:

Is this guy a news anchor

Derrick Lugo says:

Great review and pretty accurate to how I feel about the album

Adriel Sánchez says:

that rating is waay too high

Brittany Moura says:

Lucas Garrido says:

Though they sound like led, I think they re still really original, maybe just need to be more mature, but they are definitely doing a big thing. As Ramones used to sing “We need change, we need it fast
Before rock’s just part of the past”. And we’re changing!

Some Loser says:

I honestly thought I was the only that heard rush in them

nicki430 says:

Enjoyed this review the most so far. There are many songs I Iike, but some that feel like they are just filler. Lyrics could have had a little more effort at times – sometimes they are just so basic, that I feel like they put no emotion into it, so I aint feeling it.

David Bussell says:

To start: I’m not going to pretend my generation ‘needs rock,’ because some people don’t connect to it the same way I don’t connect to modern pop. I do connect to rock though, this band especially. I will say, however, they are doing a fantastic job reintroducing the classic rock sound.
Secondly: I doubted they were going to advance rock forward like Sgt. Pepper did on their first true album. Not to make the comparison to who are essentially music gods, but the Beatles’ first album was mainly composed of covers of other songs. It took three-four years (Revolver/Sgt. Pepper) for them to truly synthesize their influences and run forward in a major way. Who’s to say this band couldn’t do the same if we just wait? Anyways, philosophical ramblings adise, this album is pretty damn good and I connect to it in a way I don’t for most music post-1980, and I can’t wait to see where this band goes next!

Rocky says:

Great review

tom johnston says:

But what’s with the 70s Halloween costumes? The musics not bad but it just feels like such a gimmick.

Eli Luna says:

Really boring album tbh….

Denilson Bernitz says:

Whoever compares GvF to Rush is a complete tone deaf idiot…
They apparently haven’t listened to Rush properly

Ethan Small says:

They are a copy of Led Zeppelin

Crelio says:

I really don’t know what to think of them…on one hand, it’s really great that a hard rock band like them gets some publicity and that finally people seem to give “handmade” music a chance again. It’s just a refresher for the music as a whole…but on the other hand, their song structure is pretty boring, most songs sound pretty similar and…am i the only one who thinks it’s kinda weird that they just popped into existance and suddenly are praised as the saviors of rock as a whole with their DEBUT album? It’s been a long time since I’ve seen marketing as aggresive as in that case

Achi says:

Age of Man was unbelievable, one of my favorite songs ever.

orley104 says:

It’s a great album. Can’t stop listening to it.
