I watched this on your Patreon yesterday and if you wanted the best Kid Rock album, that guy should have suggested his 2nd album The Polyfuze Method which was released 3 years prior to this in 1993. That’s no doubt his best album and Kid Rock started out as a DJ in Detroit until Esham taught him how to rap and he took off with that in 1990 when he released his debut. It’s kind of a shame because Esham tends to never be mentioned when contributing to, innovating and inspiring the Detroit Hip-Hop scene massively by the people who surpassed him in fame and fortune. This album was a mistake honestly because after The Polyfuze Method he took a turn for the worst artistically and this was the album where the production is strongly influenced by rock and country sounding shit. Great review nonetheless.

Sean Gillooley says:

Live isnt a live track uses heavy reverb and adds a crowd and its not a freestyle he performs it in a medley on unsung and underrated with same lines

Lyndell williams says:

I think where this album has it’s flaw is that it’s not made for a well rounded listen as far as concepts & sounds. I also think there should have been more songs on this album like black chick white guy because of the story telling & sound to go along with the crowd he was trying to appeal to at the time. I also think some of the songs are too long for their listening quality & just like the comment below says I think he took a turn for the worst with this album. I think the scores are right & great review, I think he got stuck in the knish of a gimmick that he created more a less.
