psychomystic01 says:

Hey Anthony, curious what album that is in the background. Looks interesting!

Jaime López says:

Man! Can you review the new tracks of Tame Impala? I want to hear your thoughts on them if possible! Althought their album is coming up so you just could wait for the full album to be released…

Nicholas Marinich says:

Great album, but Beard, Wives, Denim stands out the most I think. Anything Kevin touches is gold, and more so if he’s playing and composing (not just producing)

Tom Rosenow says:

REVIEW THE WEATHER BOIIII

Koen van der Kam says:

Review Pond’s new album The Weather!

Whistle Blower says:

Definitely not as good as any Tame album, but you gave it the same score. I agree with this score though, and the first 2 Tame albums should’ve been higher

superiguana1 says:

You should review the new Cut Copy album

Its not true Rufus, Don't listen to the Hat says:

Saw these guys support arctic monkeys, live set ain’t that great

Dylan Christopher777 says:

Kelly Abarca says:

listening to pond i can think of many other bands but not about mac demarco. not even a little bit

Taveux Keenan says:

Pond basically is tame impala haha

Ouboti Djaneye-Boundjou says:

Are you going to ever review “The Weather” by Pond? Plus, what about GUM (really, Jay Watson, Kevin Parker’s associate and one main part of Pond) past 3 albums? Come on Melon!

Kahzi says:

No one mentioning the song Medicine Hat? the second half of that song is literally one of the most beautiful pieces of music i have ever heard…

HappyGaming says:

This album gets better everytime you listen to it… just give it time! I mean 6/10… f*cking seriously???

Zach Litchman says:

I’m surprised there wasn’t overwhelming praise for the track “Elvis’ Flaming Star”. Thought it was tight and groovy as hell.

InZayn says:

POND RULES

hobo_billy sicadelic says:

ReprogrammedToHate says:

LOL

Domsy Adams says:

Can you possibly review the new Pond album? Out on the5th may!

hippiecheezburger says:

It would sound like tame impala because Kevin Parker produced it, no one can do what Kevin can do, that’s why his sound is distinct

Brendan Stevens says:

so just a heads up, and you can check this out online on a few sources. Tame Impala is Kevin Parkers project (written and produced), and Pond is Jay & Nicks. All whom play in Tame Impala as a live outfit (Jay has quit early 2014) along with Mink Mussel Creek, Allbrook/Avery and a few others – they are more of a psych-collective that all play in each others bands and/or side projects.

David says:

“Coming out of the US” “Mac DeMarco”, are you ok?

swellbows says:

Please review their new album m8

Ben McDonald says:

If you’re gonna call yourself a “music nerd” you should not be getting song and album names wrong, it discredits your opinion wouldn’t you say!?? Similar to a typo in an article.

Jacob Hutchison says:

Holding Out For You is the shit

DaJackal says:

Do a Boogarins album. Just found out about them. As Plantas Que Curam is great.

blaho says:

No. No.

Domsy Adams says:

Can you please review their new album ‘The Weather’?

Dante Lopes says:

review The Weather it is awesome I love it

Travis Borstmayer says:

you seem smart man but immediately come across as pretentious… “subsudidly” (3:43) isn’t even a word! you just have all these musical buckets that you place songs into instead of seeing it free from all these musical categories you have made in your brain. Just my opinion

Alexander Wang says:

Review indie rock band the growlers im interested in your opinion of this group

Dan Gray says:

Please review Ponds latest album The Weather! It’s really good.

charlie wired says:

This new Pond record is their best IMO…. Ive never been a huge fan… but this new album tickles me a bit more…. I think they finally learned a thing or two from Kev Parker… the undisputed king of psych rock… (well until Currents anyway)
That KP who “they” back up as Kev’s band> Tame Impala…
its funny you mention KP being in the band,,, you fail to mention that they back him up as TI…
anyway

Reid Paulhus says:

Hey you should do a review of their latest as well, it’s taken a more tame impala stylistic approach
*correction, tame impalas latest – currents

lonely lonely says:

honestly I fell in love with this album. CX lmao

Tony Cortapassi says:

you should check out dead meadow great band
