Refreshing to hear some slam bands that aren’t just Devourment knockoffs.

GAEREA (black metal from portugal) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TERMINATRYX says:

Always great seeing our South African bands get coverage beyond our borders, whatever the sub-genre. @Terminatryx was honored to be picked as one of the bands to play the SA showcase for Banger Films’ first doc on our part of the world a few years back.

Steven Plague says:

Vulvodynia is one of my favorites. GUTTIES, SLAMS AND REEEE’s!

Tomi Mäkitalo says:

So it wasn’t about Glam & Brutal death metal after all, which I think would have been way more entertaining combo.

Jesse Gandy says:

Do a video on beatdown.

Fran Lovel Šimić says:

Pretty eh bands tbh and I am a bit sad you don’t want/scared/ talking about rape lyrics and other edgy subjects Braderino. Metal is extreme and its subjects are extreme. Eh, in any case nice video and I hope US atmo black, Croatian grind (I’m from there), Polish black or Greek black, I mean we have a shitton of scenes to go through but I hope you get to these first hehe. And I am so glad Wildernessking was mentioned!

Jaime 73 says:

Well, the scene is much bigger than South Africa! Botswana, Angola just to mention a few! But Crackdust will always be one of my favourites of the entire World!

Cable Brook says:

Australian Metalcore

Ekliger Edamer says:

Slam is weird genre, even though I like it and it’s probably my most listened genre atm, I would never rate an album higher than 3.5 points.
In the end it’s just slam and based on slams which sound always kinda similar.
So yeah, this episode was a bit unnecessary because Slam isn’t a very interesting genre.
the most informative thing was that endpart where the fashionshop was mentioned.

Dipin Bk says:

6:00 what album is he talking about???

Dylan Macdonald says:

Blo
Mono Mono
…and TONS more, esp from Nigeria & Zambia .. several great comps out there, grab em up! Original Lps cost zillions
